Regarding the COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic:

Great Brook Ski Touring Center is committed to providing a healthy and safe opportunity for the public to cross country ski and is complying with state and local guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus. Restrictions are necessary for the health and safety of both skiers and staff, and for this ski facility to be able to operate. We will do our best to serve you and appreciate your cooperation.

No equipment rentals:

Based on our first week of operation (12/18-12/24), concerns about too many people arriving at Great Brook and specifically about crowding at the trailhead require that the ski touring center temporarily cease equipment rentals.  Sales of day passes and season passes will continue as usual.  We regret that this restriction will prevent many from being able to ski but, in order to maintain safe conditions and keep the facility in operation, we must limit attendance.  Serving only those who already have equipment will be the most effective way to regulate turnout while honoring commitments made to those who have purchased season passes.  This policy will be reassessed as the winter progresses.

We request that you:

  1. Refrain from using this facility if you have symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc.) or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
  2. Wear a face mask which securely covers your mouth and nose at all times.
  3. Maintain a safe distance (at least 6 feet) from others.
  4. Use our hand sanitizer, and minimize touching.
  5. Pay by credit/debit card, not cash.
  6. Provide your contact tracing information at the sales counter.
  7. Do not linger: enjoy skiing, then depart.

Thank you!
